Shishun is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Peking University. He holds a BSc in Geology from Peking University. He is particularly interested in geodynamics and magnetic anomalies linked with Mid Ocean Ridges. He also works on geomagnetic secular variations and time-varying sedimentary provenance analysis in the Bay of Bengal.
My research currently focuses on both palaeomagnetic and environmental magnetic signals recorded in ocean sediments from the Bay of Bengal. They are used to reconstruct the millennial scale geomagnetic secular variations and time-varying sedimentary provenance. In addition, I am particularly interested in Middle Ocean Ridge. Based on geomagnetism and rock magnetism methods, it would be possible for us to understand the ocean geodynamic processes from a unique perspective.
